As Guest Post for FTG Magazine

The heatwave has hit different parts of the world and the sun, even if it feels so nice, is not only a skin killer but makes us prone to many other dangerous diseases.

That being said, we always had a hard time picking a non-greasy, organic sunscreen, which is not only safe but also chemical-free. If you are looking for natural, safe and cruelty-free way to protect your skin from the damages of the sun, here are a few to experiment with!

Lately, many people are switching to organic beauty (including me), however, finding the right natural products for your skin type takes time and money.

In the meantime, I started making my own DIYs beauty treatments, which are absolutely natural and organic. The only downside is they don’t last long so you can’t store them for months. Instead, make them in small batches. Not only do they totally work but it’s a great and a highly satisfying knowing what exactly you are using on your skin and as well as seeing the effects! GO ORGANIC !

February 18, 2019

I started this review with nothing in mind but experimenting with new skin care and makeup. Due to my strong advocacy in sustainable fashion and using organic materials to manufacture my fashion line, I just wanted to see what the fuss was about when it came to organic skin care. I am now a month into organic products and have reached the point of never going back. As a lay user there were many changes I found, especially after the first two weeks. It included a lot of self-reflection and expressed that the only change one has to make, is to change you. Even though these changes were all very positive, it was difficult especially when I had to go out of my comfort zone. Read More…

GREEN SKIN

February 18, 2019

My first experience with ethical makeup was early last year when I tried a specific illuminator. It ended up being cakey and ruined my foundation so I reverted back to my original makeup. However, after recently making the full switch to organic skin care, I decided to give the makeup another try. I am so glad I did! Besides being fragrance free with no harsh reactions and containing vegetable oil that moisturises your skin, it’s good for the environment. Organic makeup is generally more nutrient rich and tends to contain more vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Many consumers are fans of its true environmental benefits and look at using organic products as a way of cutting down the amount of pollutants that can enter the body. Read More…
